An award winning multi-talented artist, Aasiyah began dancing at the age of 3. Beginning with traditional ballet and tap classes, Aasiyah branched out into jazz, hip-hop and modern dance. She danced competitively for more than 10 years earning multiple state and regional awards and was cast as a featured stage performer for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.
After spending years in the competitive and professional dance world, the universe took Aasiyah’s life in a different direction. Aasiyah chose to further her academic education by enrolling in a university where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree. It was here Aasiyah was introduced to Middle Eastern dance. Captivated by this sensual art, Aasiyah eagerly enrolled into as many belly dance classes as her college budget could allow. Upon graduation, Aasiyah threw herself head first into her professional Middle Eastern dance studies.
Since beginning her professional Middle Eastern dance education, Aasiyah has studied with master instructors and choreographers from Egypt, Turkey and the United States. A dancer of the highest caliber, Aasiyah has danced in countless venues from local community centers and restaurants to the stages of New York City and everywhere in between. She works with some of the communities most esteemed choreographers,
tours with a professional dance ensemble, performs for major universities and more. In addition to earning the respect of her peers and mentors, Aasiyah's professionalism and knowledge have earned her a teaching position at Rutgers University. She is also currently the house dancer at the renowned Marakesh Restaurant in Parsippany, NJ.

Also a classically trained pianist, Aasiyah’s innate sense of rhythm and musicality make her an ideal accompanying dancer for any live musician. Aasiyah’s effervescent personality and passion are reflected in every electrifying movement of her performance.
